When we launched ARC-TIC Iceland, we knew we didn’t want to follow the traditional playbook. Instead, we looked to the stars, and to a certain Intergalactic Man of Mystery.
In true guerrilla fashion, our marketing campaign was unconventional, unexpected, and unforgettable. The Intergalactic Man of Mystery made surprise appearances around Reykjavík and beyond, dressed in his signature retro spacesuit, wearing our ARC-TIC Iceland timepiece, and delivering cryptic cosmic messages.
Passersby stopped. Photos were taken. Social media buzzed. Who was he? What was he doing here? And what exactly was on his wrist?
The campaign blurred the lines between performance art, street marketing, and brand storytelling. It captured the essence of ARC-TIC Iceland: bold design, a sense of adventure, and a playful nod to sci-fi nostalgia..
By the time the first watches were unveiled, we’d already sparked curiosity, conversation, and a little bit of mystery, exactly what we were aiming for.
